Marcal Tissue or Paper Towels

I found a seller on eBay that had Marcal Toilet paper coupons from Sunday Smartsource on the 31st of January inserts.

So I purchased 40 yes That many coupons because not only did I get $2.00 coupons but the companion coupon get $1.00 off a single roll of TP or Paper Towel coupon.  Now, I was lucky to get all 80 coupons for less than $6.00 with shipping so here is how I will parlay the cost of coupons into toilet paper and paper towels for our stockpile.

The 40 free or 1.00 off coupons will purchase 40 single rolls of paper towels.

Here is the cost savings, $34.00 just for paper towels no out of pocket (OOP)

For TP normal cost is $3.57 for a 4 pack (triple rolls) less $2 (40) coupon
equals = $154.59 (tax remember) less (40 $2 mqs and tax) = $64.60

OOP is $64.60 + coupon cost  for 160 triple rolls of TP and 40 paper towel rolls

Now you can see this savings on toilet paper to be = $89.99 or triple that amount since the packs are over 400 sq feet vice regular packs being just over 75 sq feet.

But for sakes of argument lets keep it simple...

Savings below:
$34.00
$89.99
Total $123.99 less price of coupons or $117.99 into mortgage account.

SO, now my family is set for toilet paper for at least a year.  Don't know about paper towels since my hubby is a towel hog.

Off to find my next savings on hair care.  Proctor & Gamble will be running a special after their insert is printed in the 21st of Feb newspapers.  So be watching for rebates.

Next, I will list my year to date list of rebates I have gotten back so far this year.

HUGS All you savers..............

I know a way to save more on toilet paper than any coupon or special. This covers all the bases = saves you money, helps the environment, helps your health, makes you feel better, it's so easy to do and it costs less than $50.00; Save money and the Earth and be clean at the same time! Add Bathroom Bidet Sprayers to all your bathrooms. I think Dr. Oz on Oprah said it best: "if you had pee or poop on your hand, you wouldn't wipe it off with paper, would you? You'd wash it off” Available at www.bathroomsprayers.com with these you won't even need toilet paper any more, just a towel to dry off! Don’t worry, you can still leave some out for guests and can even make it the soft stuff without feeling guilty. It's cheap and can be installed without a plumber; and runs off the same water line to your toilet. You'll probably pay for it in a few months of toilet paper savings. As for water use a drought is always a concern and must be dealt with prudently but remember the water use of industrial users far exceeds the water use of household users and in the case of toilet paper manufacture it is huge. The pollution and significant power use from that manufacturing process also contributes to global warming so switching to a hand bidet sprayer and lowering your toilet paper use is very green in multiple ways.

HEY DK

Nice to meet you David. Since we have a water well, I don't think I want to spray 'bacterial or heavy metal' water into my Who Ha. However, I can see where you have done the research on the matter. If I was a dude, a bidet would not be an issue.

We would have to tear out our pipes, install a water filtration system and install pipes not coated with sulphur and other residue.

We only use our water for flushing, washing clothes (we don't wear light colors), and other cleaning. Though this year we plan on using water for gardening and such.

Thanks for all your input!
